A different concept in mastering a language? Fun and social, yes. Helpful? It is
Franglish. Essentially it is a one to one with paired French & English speakers in 14 minute discussions changing languages after 7 minutes. At the session I attended there were 5 tables of which I did 4, took just over an hour.
Apparently Franglish is working well in Paris and about to hit London. I am not sure that in its current state it is more than fun although it 'feels' as though it could really provide a fresh approach to comprehending a language as it is spoken.

Apparentement Franglish fonctionne bien a Paris et serai a Londres. Je suis ne pas sur que dans son etat actuel il est plus que l'amusement cependant il pourrait vraiment founir une approche fraiche a comprendre une langue qu'il est parle.
