An interesting article from Friday's Nice Matin.Bet you didn't know that Cannes on the Riviera had housing estates (in US projects). Bet you also didn't know that the police suffer the same lack of respect as they do in the UK and US. The fun bit is that the police took umbrage at the lack of respect allegedly setting about the locals in what has been described as a brawl! The police response is basically that they aren't taking the abuse. Refreshing, some may say disturbing?? Not me.
